PANE is an independent local Pointer Specialty club affiliated with the American Pointer Club. Our objective is to promote the quality breeding of pure-bred Pointers and to do all possible to bring theirnatural qualities to perfection. We do this by conducting licensed specialty shows, field trials, hunting tests and obediance trials under the rules of the The American Kennel Club. Membership is open to persons who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the club.Although most of members live in New England, New York and New Jersey, we also have members on the west coast, Canada, England, Australia and South America.

The Club is actively involved in rescuing Pointers that have been lost or abandoned or who can no longer be cared for by their owners. The dogs are all checked for good health, disposition and are usually neutered before being placed in homes. We are always seeking good homes for these dogs. They make wonderful, loving family pets.
Note: the Pointer Classic will be held on May 10 - 11 on the same grounds
